Master Mason Rings

A Master Mason ring carries the square and compass, often with the letter G, and marks the third degree of the Blue Lodge. These rings are made to order in sterling silver, gold vermeil or solid gold, and you can add a lodge number, a date or initials to the band.

Who wears a Master Mason ring

Masonic custom expects the ring to be worn by a Master Mason. A family member who inherits a ring often keeps it rather than wears it, so it is not read as a claim of membership. We make rings from the emblem and wording you ask for and do not check membership.

Which way the points face

There is no single rule. Some brothers wear the compass points toward themselves as a personal reminder, and others wear them facing out. Ask your lodge if it follows a custom. The ring is engraved the same way in both cases.

Lodge details and custom work

Send your lodge name, number, a date or initials and we place them on the band or inside the shank. For lodge emblems or a design of your own, upload the artwork and approve the proof first. We hold no license from any Grand Lodge.

Where it is made

We make each ring by hand in our workshop in Ankara, Turkey: cast, engraved and finished one at a time. US orders ship free and tracked with duties paid, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. You approve a digital proof before production, which takes about 2 business days.

Frequently asked questions

What does a Master Mason ring mean?

It shows that the wearer has been raised to the third degree, Master Mason, in a Blue Lodge. The square and compass stand for moral conduct and limits, and the G is usually read as God or geometry.

Can a non-Mason wear a Masonic ring?

Custom says the ring is for members, and wearing one can be read as claiming membership. Relatives who inherit a ring usually keep it as a memento. We make the ring you order and do not check membership.

Which hand do you wear a Masonic ring on?

Either hand is fine. Many brothers wear it on the right ring finger so it does not sit beside a wedding band, and others use the pinky. Choose the finger first and size for that finger.

How much is a Masonic ring worth?

A new ring's price depends on the metal. Sterling silver costs least, plated and vermeil finishes sit in the middle, and solid gold costs most. Each product page shows its price for every metal option.

Can you add my lodge number to the ring?

Yes. Write the lodge name, number, a date or initials in the personalization box. We place them on the band or inside the shank and send a proof within 24 to 48 hours.
