The traditional monogram rule
A traditional monogram for one person puts the first initial on the left, the last initial larger in the center and the middle initial on the right. Tell us the order you want in the personalization box. If the letters are the same size, we read them left to right exactly as you type them.
Script, block or interlocking letters
Script letters suit an oval face. Block and Old English letters read clearly on a square or round face. Interlocking letters join into one shape and work best with two or three initials. The proof shows your real letters on the face you picked, so you can change the style before production.
Metal and wear
925 sterling silver is the lower-cost choice and develops a soft patina. Gold plated and vermeil finishes give a gold look and wear with daily use over months to years. Solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold resists wear best. Each product page lists the metals that design is offered in.

We make each ring by hand in our workshop in Ankara, Turkey: cast, engraved and finished one at a time. US orders ship free and tracked with duties paid, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. What are the rules for monograms on a ring?
For one person, the traditional order is first initial, then the last initial larger in the center, then the middle initial. Many women now prefer the letters in plain reading order. Write the order you want and the proof will show it before we make anything.
Are initial rings still in style?
Yes. Initial and monogram signet rings are worn stacked with thin bands or alone on the pinky or index finger. A small oval or square face with one or two letters is the most worn style in our monogram range.
